The Big Move

Heading back to Utah!

 

Well, here's the big fat truck to move all our stuff across the country.

 

 Story time. We all got up at around 6 to get ready and leave. Didn't leave the house until around 6:45. We start to head out. Before we get on the road we need to fill up with gas. That took maybe 10 minutes. Finally ready to get on the road! heading down the drive way of the gas station my dad gets the truck and trailer stuck, and I mean STUCK! It wouldn't budge! After about 30 minutes they finally get the trailer of the back of the truck! We still couldn't move the truck. Then some guy pulls up and says I have a fork lift just down the road I'll be right back . . . That's how we got the truck out.

 I'm glad to get away from the outrageous heat and humidity in Oklahoma! It got up to 112

The flat lands! I actually will miss it!

 There was a thunder storm on the way that was incredible! This is the rain coming down from the clouds! It was so beautiful!

Today I finally got the feeling that we really are moving.

Wow . . . crazy! Less than a week till we are out of Oklahoma! I have to say I have a love/hate relationship with moving! It's so fun to get a new beginning but its really tough to leave all your friends!

Last night for my last young womens activity we had a birthday party for all the young women! It was so fun!! We had cupcakes and soda (I had milk) then we played a few games! I love all the young women in the OKC 3rd ward! They are all my sisters! I am going to miss them all very much!

On their way to Alabama the Benhems came and crashed at our place for the night! I'm so glad they did. Just in time too. A week later and the house would have been empty. It was great to see them! Have a safe trip guys and hope to see you in Utah soon!

Jaxsons Birthday!

Jaxson was gone for scout camp this past week so we weren't able to celebrate his birthday with him. So yesterday after church we opened presents and had donut "cake" and ice cream! Then we watched the Thunder game...well I didn't my parents did. I fall asleep during ever game. We lost last night anyway.

Drama

Last October my brother and I started homeschooling. Turns out one of my really good friends, Camilla and her sister are home schooled too! When they learned that we had started homeschooling they invited us to there homeschool drama club that happens every Thursday. We thought that would be fun and a good way to make some new friends so we went. They were already half way done with the play that they were on right then, so we just helped with the set. My brother helped with the props while I worked with the spotlight. It was fun, but I was more excited for the next semester where I would actually be able to be in the play.
Here we are in the next semester. We decided on a play called "Ax of Murder." Its been really fun here towards the end where we can go through the play a few times each practice because we all know our lines and cues. Last night we had a performance which I think went really well! Tonight will be our last performance. I hope it goes as good if not better than yesterdays. I've really enjoyed this opportunity to get to know more people and to become closer to my friends!

Sisters

I love my sisters! It's true. Sometimes it might seem like I don't, but I do! They may get on my nerves but I love them just the same, and besides . . . They're terrific little models.
